Narrative illustrator and multi-purpose image maker.
Sci-fi and fantasy lover with a sweet tooth.
Born and bred in East London, I have recently completed my degree in graphic design and illustration at the London College of Communication.
Feel free to email me or ask me questions. You can also check out my official portfolio at lisadagz.com or check out what I got up to on my placement year during 2011/12 on my class's blog.
I made a point of sale for The Orphans Who Had Parents, thought I’d show it off a bit.
The Orphans Who Had Parents is now cheaper to buy! I’ve put a black and white edition up in my Lulu store, £2.80 plus p+p. Enjoy!
If you’re in London next Thursday/Friday come to this! I’ll have all of my Splatterworld sketchbooks and prints (a few prints to sell as well as fundraising for our degree show, let me know if there are any characters you like so I can be sure to make you a copy) and a few copies of The Orphans Who Had Parents on show.
It’s at the Truman Brewery, although the entrance is off of Hanbury Street as opposed to on the Brick Lane side. Here’s the Facebook event if that’s useful to you. Looking forward to seeing you all!
By the way I didn’t design the flyer, not sure who did but you can check out the work of the other illustrators in the exhibition here.
So, as promised, The Orphans Who Had Parents is now available to buy as a paperback graphic novel. Huzzah! Visit my shop at Lulu.com here to get your hands on it.
I’ve also put the Splatterworld story up as a magazine-style book to buy, in case people were interested in that.
That’s it for now for The Orphans Who Had Parents. If you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far (the intro, chapter 1 and chapter 4), links to buy the comic will be up soon! For now, though, here’s a better made hand-bound copy, I thought it came out quite well!
As you might’ve noticed, I’m only putting up sections of The Orphans Who Had Parents but I’ve now completed the story and created comics in time for the deadline: First day back at uni next Tuesday!
Used up two inkjet printer cartridges just printing three comics, though. There’s got to be a more economical way?
